HOUSTON, Sept. 18 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Helix Energy Solutions (NYSE: HLX) announced today that Alisa B. Johnson has joined Helix as of September 18, 2006 as its Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary.
Ms. Johnson has practiced law for over 20 years, has over 15 years of energy sector experience and was most recently with Dynegy Inc., serving as Senior Vice President and Group General Counsel - Generation. In that capacity she was responsible for leading a team that provided legal services to Dynegy's power generation business unit [including operations, marketing and trading, regulatory, environmental and litigation matters], as well as handling many of the company's M & A transactions.
Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in Legal Studies and Theology from Rice University and a Juris Doctor Law degree from the University of Houston.
