Houston TX - Cal Dive International, Inc. (Nasdaq: CDIS) has been awarded a unique contract by Forest Oil Corporation (NYSE: FST) covering full life cycle services for Forest's Ship Shoals 276 subsea tie-back project. In 1998, Cal Dive will provide project management, engineering, procurement, installation and commissioning services related to subsea wellhead installation and subsea tree tie-back to Forest's Ship Shoals 277 platform. The subsea tie-back will consist of a single 4.5" diameter pipeline with a control umbilical laid simultaneously in 210' fsw. In due course, Cal Dive will plug and abandon the flowline and remove the supporting platform facilities.
